Mr. Marty Joe Bryan, 47, of Stony Point, N.C., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.

Marty was born on April 15, 1978, in Iredell County to the late Roger Meredith and Sonja Bryan, and was raised in Alexander County. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and was employed as an auto mechanic for many years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, who will be deeply missed by everyone. Marty was simple man, who mainly loved spending time with his family and grandchild.

Surviving is his son, Eli Bryan of Statesville and girlfriend Emily Leutenegger; and a brother, Adam Meredith and wife Christine of Lexington. Also surviving are stepchildren, Jacelyn Beam and Kamden Beam, and one grandson, Dutton Beam.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, one at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service.
