
Pamela Joy Sigmon Wooten, 67, passed away at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C., after an extended illness on January 10, 2026. She was born on June 22, 1958, to the late Harry Ross Sigmon and his wife Helen. Pam was a member of the Landmark Church of God in Statesville. She loved singing, was an avid bowler, and was an amazing wife and mother. During her lifetime, she worked as a hairdresser and also at Wooten Jewelers.
Pam was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Laughinghouse, and her three brothers, Tracy Sigmon, Lanny Sigmon, and Richard Sigmon
Pam is survived by her husband, Dale Wooten of the homel her two sons, Preston Wooten (Samantha) of Conover and Joshua Wooten of the home; her daughter, Faye Wooten of Statesville; and her eight grandchildren, Trentin, Lyam, Zander, Saiylor, Gavan, Wesley, Jaxan, and Oaklee.
A celebration of life will be held at the Landmark Church of God on Wednesday, January 14, at 1:30 p.m., with a visitation taking place an hour before the service. Bishop Phil Pearson and Pastor Paul Foust will be officiating the service.
