Patricia Eads Case, 88, of Statesville, N.C., passed away peacefully at her residence on April 4, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on July 22, 1937, in Evansville, Ind., Pat’s life was a testament to faith, family, and community.

Pat, as she was fondly known, dedicated much of her life to her spiritual community. She served faithfully as a pastor’s wife for over 54 years, a role she embraced with grace and humility. She served as a Sunday School teacher, pianist and soloist during their years of ministry. She was a member of the Archdale Pilgrim Holiness Church.

Family was the jewel of Pat’s life. She treasured her beloved husband of nearly 66 years, Paul L. Case, who stood by her side through the many seasons of their shared journey. Together, they raised a vibrant family, blessed with three sons and two daughters. Pat’s heart swelled with pride and joy for her 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, all of whom were deeply loved and cherished. She found immense joy in entertaining and hosting gatherings, always opening her home with warmth and kindness. Known as a genuine people person, Pat never met a stranger and had a remarkable ability to make friends easily.

Her passions extended beyond her family and church. Pat’s hands expressed her creativity through crocheting, and she found joy in reading, music, and playing the piano—activities that brought beauty and comfort to her life and to those around her.

Pat was preceded in death by her father, Armel Eads, and her mother, Blanche Yoho Eads. Along with her loving husband Paul, she is survived by her dear sister, Linda Kaelin, as well as daughters, Pamela Williams (Richard), and Patricia Shaffer (Chris); sons, Paul Case Jr. (Connie), Perry Case (Brenda), and Philip Case (Carla), grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward her legacy of love and faith.
