Robin Miller Turbeville, 70, of Claremont, N.C., went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Catawba Valley Medical Center.

Robin was born on September 4, 1955, to the late Dent Miller and June Putnam Miller. She was a graduate of Statesville High School and Mitchell Community College. She was married to Steven Wayne Turbeville, who preceded her in death in 2019.

Robin was a beautiful and vibrant soul who loved to sing and dance. She had a phenomenal voice and was always singing her favorite songs. Those who watched her dance with her partner often described them as a “celebrity couple.” She was an amazing cook who made family dinners memorable for everyone gathered around her table. Robin had a special love for babies and was affectionately known as the “baby whisperer.” It was no surprise that she was blessed with five children of her own and treasured every moment spent caring for her seven grandchildren. For most of her life, she was a devoted stay-at-home mother, a role she embraced with great pride.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Travis Elliott and Martin Turbeville (Hannah); three daughters, Loni Turbeville, Perrie Turbeville (Aaron), and Sara Tess Turbeville; her sister, Mary Miller; her beloved grandchildren, Axton, Talan, Maddox, Carter, Chandler, Stevie, Noah, and Kylie; and her special friend, James Walker.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Beulah Baptist Church. Rev. Brian Burgess will officiate. The family will visit with friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Arrangements for Robin are in the care of Troutman Funeral Home.
