Sarah Ann Readling Bivens, 80, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026, at the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville.

She was born on June 20, 1945, in Mooresville to the late Edgar Albert Readling and Margaret Deaton Readling. Sarah was a proud graduate of Mooresville High School, Class of 1963, and later earned her associate degree from the Lowrance Hospital School of X-ray in Mooresville. Following her education, she committed herself to a rewarding 45-year career as an X-ray technologist, providing compassionate care and support to countless patients throughout her tenure in the healthcare industry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Readling, Bobby Readling; nephew, Eddie Cline; and niece, Terry McAlister.

She is survived by her loving sister, Nancy Readling Brown; nieces and nephews, Mike Cline (Cathy), Deborah Cline Gabriel (Cory), Danny Cline (Robin), Pam Culp, Cindy Weatherford, Steve Readling (Debbie), Jeff Readling (Renee), and Robbie Readling; and great nieces and nephews, Chris, Nick, Jason, Heather, Chad, Brooke, Jenna, and Zack.

A private graveside will be held by the family.
