Teresa Lee Ritchie, 62, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026. Born on January 22, 1964, in New York, Teresa’s life was marked by a Godly, bold, and kind spirit—someone who would do anything for anyone and who truly never met a stranger.

Teresa devoted herself to her home and family as a homemaker. She was fiercely protective of her children, and was the best wife one could ever have. She enjoyed the beach, spending time with family, and the simple comforts of cooking and cleaning. A woman who loved Jesus, Teresa was always happy to share her faith with others.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Paul Everett Keith Sr.; and her sisters, Susie Keith Bolin and Paula Huffman.

Teresa is survived by her mother, Thelma Crockett; her husband, James Ritchie of the home; her son, Billy Blevins of Statesville; her daughter, Eden Short (Chris) of Ohio; her brother, Paul Keith of High Point; her sister, Missy Bailey of West Virginia; and her grandchildren, Keygan Short and Bentley Short.
