Mr. Willie Eugene Clark, 72, of Asheville, N.C., was the son of the late Lawson Clark and Sarah Catherine Turner Clark. He was born in Iredell County on November 5, 1953. He departed this life on Friday, February 7, 2026.

He was a graduate of South Iredell High School and was a member of True Devine Miracle Tabernacle. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a construction worker for Brawley Construction Company. Willie had a love for cars, drag racing, basketball and body building. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Calvin Leon Turner.

He leaves to cherish the memory of his life two sons, Isaiah Clark of Asheville and Willie (Kimberly) Clark of Statesville; a daughter, Christina Clark of Charlotte; two brothers, Russell (Bonita) Clark of Mooresville and Donald (Shirley) Clark of Charlotte; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.
