Statesville Branch to close from January 6-11

The Youth Services Department is returning to the lower level of the main branch of the Iredell County Public Library.

The Statesville branch will close from Monday, January 6, through Saturday, January 11, for the move. The Harmony and Troutman branches will remain open and have normal operating hours during this week.

Trivia Night: Pop Culture
When: January 14, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Details: Who doesn’t love trivia? This month we’ll be asking lots of tricky questions about pop culture. Win books and bragging rights!

Lunch & Learn: Wellness Wednesdays
When: January 15, 12 to 1 p.m.
Details: NAMI In Our Own Voice presentations change attitudes and misinformation about people with mental health conditions. Hear perspectives on a highly misunderstood topic, information on how get involved with the mental health community, and more.

Not the End of the Story Book Club
When: January 16, 4 to 5 p.m.
Details: Open to all middle schoolers, this book club reads titles on the Battle of the Books middle school list. Read for fun or to study.

Adulting 101: Dining Etiquette
When: January 21, 6 to 7 p.m.
Details: Learn old traditions this new year. Join us as we learn the basic rules of etiquette at a formal table setting.

Mutt-I-Grees
When: January 25, 11 a.m. to noon.
Details: At Iredell County Animal Services. Join us at the Animal Shelter as we make some fantastic gifts for our favorite four-legged friends.

Lunch & Learn: Master Gardeners

Details: Learn everything you need to know about gardening from a Master Gardener with the NC Cooperative Extension. Our lecturers feature a new topic each month, with room for Q&A time afterwards.
