Christmas Baseball/Softball Camp
When: Friday, December 27, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Fifteen Sports Athletic Center, 117 Sha Lane, Troutman
Details: Fielding and hitting each day, softball camp for ages 9-11 and 7-14. Baseball camp for ages 7-12 and 13 and up. Cost is $75 for three days or $30 a day.
Winter Break Unicorn Camp
When: Friday, December 27, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: 1327 US Highway 21, Mooresville
Details: Beginners welcome. At this horse camp kids will have the opportunity to ride and learn about horses. Cost is $55 per student and due in advance. Kids must bring a lunch and wear long pants and boots with a heel.
Christmas Wonderland of Lights
When: Friday, December 27, 6 to 10 p.m.; Saturday, December 28, 6 to 10 p.m.; Sunday, December 29, 6 to 9 p.m.
Where: Zootastic Park, 385 Oswalt Amity Road,Troutman
Details: Opening Season of the Christmas Wonder of Lights. Open every Sunday – Thursday from 6-9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 6-10 p.m. Admission is $8 per person ages 2 and older. Admission includes drive thru Wonderland of Lights, Reindeer Forest, and walk around part of the zoo. Other items available for purchase like tiger, giraffe and barn animal feeding, S’mores, Santa will be available every night through Dec. 24th.
Sharpe House New Year’s Tea 2019
When: Saturday, December 28, 12 to 4 p.m.
Where: The Sharpe House, 402 S Center St, Statesville
Details: Delicacies from our kitchen and local high school students will be on the menu as well as freshly brewed black tea. Raffles for signature lemon pound cakes and other holiday delicacies. Cash or Check for raffle tickets only. Tickets are $16 per adult, $9 for children ages 7-12, children 6 and under are free. Proceeds to benefit the Silas Alexander Sharpe Foundation.
Lunch by the Lake
When: Sunday, December 29, 12 to 3 p.m.
Where: Dogwood on Lake Norman, Meeting & Retreat Center, 7062 Dogwood Drive
Details: Cost is $11 for dine in buffet style lunch or $12 to go. Children are $6 for ages 12-6, 5 and under are free.
