The Statesville Stormwater Advisory Commission is seeking volunteers to serve on its board for a three-year term.

The Stormwater Advisory Commission works with the city staff to become knowledgeable about stormwater in Statesville, review guidelines and make recommendations to the City Council about stormwater runoff control and stormwater management.

To the extent possible, the commission has members who have experience in the development or building industry; are interested in the environment; and are involved in neighborhood or homeowner associations. Members should be a resident of, own property in or conduct business in the City of Statesville.

The Stormwater Advisory Commission meets quarterly on the third Thursday of the month at 12 noon in City Hall. Members are appointed by the Statesville City Council.
