Red Dirt Revival (RDR) will perform at the final Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 Summer Concert for the 2021 season in Downtown Statesville on Friday, October 8.
A country band based in Alamance County, RDR is highly regarded in the local music scene and plays everything from the classic days of the outlaws to the crooners of the 1990s. They also perform some of today’s hits as well as original songs.
RDR has headlined multiple festivals across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. They have also shared the stage with many national acts, including country music icons Joe Diffie, David Allan Coe, Confederate Railroad, Tracy Lawrence and Jamey Johnson along with up-and-coming artists like Parmalee and Chris Janson.
The 2021 Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 Summer Concert Series offers free entertainment to Statesville’s residents, neighbors and visitors in Downtown Statesville from June through October.
The concerts are held in Downtown Statesville on West Broad Street in front of Mitchell Community College from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Beer, wine, soft drinks, sweets from Andrea’s Ice Cream & Sweet Shop and food from Wilson’s Weenie Wagon and Waffle Chick Food Truck will be on hand beginning at 5 p.m.
Come early to bring your chairs and enjoy a night of music. Concert goers can also enjoy featured craft beers from our local breweries, Fourth Creek Brewing Co. and Red Buffalo Brewing Co.
No Dogs, pets, coolers, outside beverages or containers are allowed.
COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS
This outdoor event will follow all local, state, and federal restrictions in effect at the time. Hand sanitizer and masks will be available. Masks and social distancing are recommended in the concert area.
