In an effort to support businesses during the COVID-19 lockdown, the Town of Mooresville suspended strict enforcement of the town’s sign regulations.

During this time, town staff noticed a significant increase in signage being placed on power poles, which is not permitted under the town ordinance.

Now that COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, town staff has resumed regular sign enforcement. Signage located on power poles will be removed and anyone associated will be fined in accordance with the Town of Mooresville Zoning Ordinance, town officials said in a news release.
