Several improvements have been made to the Statesville City Hall building for accessibility, including upgrading the parking lot.

Special to Iredell Free News

The City of Statesville is making a concerted effort to improve the accessibility of its programs and facilities for all citizens. The public’s assistance is needed to help identify areas where improvements are needed.

A survey is available for all residents at www.statesvillenc.net/survey.

The 13-question survey asks residents to rate the sidewalks and intersections and asks for specific examples and locations of where accessibility is difficult. This includes parks, city facilities, downtown and shopping areas.

The survey will take about 5 to 7 minutes to complete.
