Piedmont HealthCare is proud to announce Dawn Kufahl has accepted the role of director of operations.
In this position, she will be the intermediary between the Piedmont HealthCare administration and offices. She will be managing 27 primary care and specialty offices ensuring each office achieves organizational goals through business growth, quality of care, and timely delivery of services.
“I am excited to join our administrative team. I believe that Piedmont HealthCare is a great place to work; they truly care about our patients, staff, and this community,” Kufahl said. “As director of operations, I plan to act as the bridge between our administrative team, our providers, and staff, utilizing my 20-plus years of experience in healthcare management to ensure our offices are operating as efficiently as possible.”
Kufahl and her family moved to Statesville in 1998. She has spent 14 years working in family practice offices and 10 years in specialty offices. Most recently, shehas spent the past three years working at the Piedmont HealthCare Orthopedic Surgery office. In these 24 years of medical office experience, she gained valuable clinical and administrative knowledge that she can apply in this new leadership role.

Kufahl recently celebrated 25 years of marriage this year with her husband Ryan. They are proud parents of two boys, Brody and Joel, who have both chosen to follow in their father’s footsteps and serve in the U.S. military.
