A Statesville man was sentenced to more than 30 years in prison after he was convicted of 13 felony charges of sexually abusing two children and forcing them to watch pornographic videos.

An Iredell County Superior Court jury found Larry Terry Rudisill, 71, guilty of eight counts of indecent liberties with a child, four counts of disseminating obscenities to a minor, and one count of first-degree statutory sex offense on August 26.

Visiting Judge Pat Nardolski sentenced Rudisill to six consecutive sentences of 17 to 21 months in prison, followed by one sentence of 260 to 321 months in prison.

The charges were filed by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office in June of 2014. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Crystal Beale.

According to the ICSO, Rudisill assaulted the victims and forced them to watch pornographic videos in 2007. The victims were under the age of 13 at the time of the offenses.
