Mooresville Police Chief Ron Campurciani was recently elected to a leadership position by the International Association of Chiefs of Police during the organization’s annual conference in San Diego, Calif. His term will run two years.
“I am honored to be elected to serve as the vice chair of the Midsized Agencies Division by my peers across the country who make up the Midsize Agencies Division,” Campurciani said.
“More importantly, Mooresville will have a voice on issues affecting law enforcement nationally and internationally, from policy to retention, training, technology usage, and more,” the chief added. “Mooresville residents and visitors will be the recipients of innovative policing resources and practices from around the globe, and I will be able to bring those best practices to Mooresville as we move forward and grow together as a community.”
