To All Interested Parties: The City of Statesville (“COS”), the Owner and operator of the Statesville Regional Airport (“Airport”), will receive sealed Statements of Qualifications (“SOQ”) to acquire the services of the Construction Manager at Risk (“Firm”) to implement the construction of the:

STATESVILLE REGIONAL AIRPORT TERMINAL BUILDING
Statesville Regional Airport
Statesville, North Carolina

The COS is accepting SOQs from firms (or multiple firms comprising a project team) whose combination of experience and personnel will provide timely and effective construction management services to COS for this Project.

Information related to this RFQ, including any addenda, will be posted to the City website, which can be found at www.statesvillenc.net/bidpostings. Any and all inquiries, questions and submission of information regarding this RFQ shall be sent in writing via email to:

It is the responsibility of each person or firm submitting questions or comments to verify receipt by COS.

COS shall not be responsible for questions that are not submitted to or received by the Airport Director at the email address above.

SOQs will be received up until 3:00 p.m., local time, March 31, 2023. Submittals received after that time will not be accepted.

SOQs may be delivered by mail (U.S. Postal Service, Federal Express, UPS or comparable delivery services) and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope or package, addressed to the Airport as follows:

The name and address of the submitting Firm and Project title shall be placed on the outside of the package.

All items required for a responsive SOQ shall be included.

A non-mandatory Pre-Submittal Meeting will be held March 14, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Conference Room of Statesville Regional Airport Terminal.

The City of Statesville, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all offerors that it will affirmatively ensure that for any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, Historically Underutilized Businesses will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and no businesses will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability in consideration for an award.

The City of Statesville reserves the right to accept or reject any submission, to reject all submissions and readvertise, or to reject all submissions without further action, whatever the COS deems to be in its best interest.
