The final artisan farmer’s market of the season at Fort Dobbs State Historic Site will be held on Tuesday, December 19.

Local farmers will be joined by crafters and artists, all with unique and delicious goods for sale. Event hours are 3 to 5:30 p.m.

The market, held the first and third weekend of each month, will go on winter hiatus and will resume in March.

Vendors interested in participating in next year’s markets must pre-register and meet N.C. Department of Revenue qualifications for doing business.

About Fort Dobbs

Fort Dobbs State Historic Site’s mission is to preserve and interpret the history of Fort Dobbs and North Carolina’s role in the French and Indian War. It is open Tuesday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Special events and living history weekends are offered throughout the year. Fort Dobbs is located at 438 Fort Dobbs Road in Statesville. It is part of the Division of N.C. State Historic Sites within the N.C. Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
