Iredell Health System is pleased to announce Pamela Moore has been promoted to director of 1 North and Infusion Care Services.

Moore has worked at Iredell Health System for over 21 years. She worked her first 10 years in the medical-surgical unit as a staff registered nurse and clinical coordinator. Moore then transitioned to critical care, where she was a staff registered nurse and clinical coordinator for seven years. She was then promoted to assistant director of Critical Care, where she has served for more than four years.

From a young age, Moore knew nursing was her passion.

“I have always wanted to be a nurse for as long as I can remember. I believe it is my calling, and
God hand-picked me for this profession,” she said.

Moore received her associate’s degree in nursing from Mitchell Community College and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Gardner-Webb University. She has recently earned her Master of Science in Nursing.

Moore is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and has her Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification.

In her new role, Moore will oversee and lead the 1 North team and Infusion Care Services.

“I hope to lead this wonderful team and inspire wellbeing by exemplifying the values of the organization. I wish to model respect, integrity, collaboration, and compassion toward my team and our community,” she said.

In her free time, Moore likes to spend time with her family. She has five children and seven grandchildren.
