Rep. Jeff McNeely toured Cloverleaf Elementary School earlier this week on “Bring you Legislator to School Day.”

“It was a great visit to see students firsthand in their learning environment,” McNeely said.

McNeely also learned about the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) curriculum. It offers a transdisciplinary, inquiry-based and student-centered approach to enable students to be lifelong learners in a global context.

The school was officially authorized as an IB World School in August 2020.

McNeely and Principal Andy Mehall discussed how legislation impacts schools across the state.
