Iredell County Sheriff Darren Campbell announced Monday that four deputies had been promoted

♦ Lt. Chase Little started his career at a neighboring agency in September 2016 and joined the ICSO in November 2016 as a patrol deputy. He transferred to the Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Unit in November 2019. Lt. Little was promoted to patrol sergeant in 2022. He received his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with concentrations in Emergency Management from Western Carolina University in August 2020. Lt. Little has received his Intermediate Law Enforcement certificate as well as his Law Enforcement Leadership certificate from Rowan Cabarrus Community College. He will be assigned to C Shift.

♦ Sgt. Kevin Hall has been with the ICSO for 13 years and is currently the Sex Offender Registry compliance officer. Sgt. Hall started his career at the Detention Center and was later moved to road patrol. He has served in several different divisions, including Civil, Patrol, Warrants, Canine, and drone pilot. Sgt. Hall has completed First Line Supervision Training, and is certified as a Field Training Officer. He will be assigned to A Shift.

♦ Sgt. David Souther came to the ICSO from a neighboring agency in 2018 and since then has served a patrol deputy. He has completed Field Training Officer School and completed Police Law Institute Training. Sgt. Souther will be assigned to D Shift.

♦ Lt. Marsha Wagoner began her law enforcement career 23 years ago at a neighboring agency. In 2006, she joined the ICSO as a Narcotics Detective and then moved into the roll of school resource officer. She was later promoted to the roll of sergeant over ICSO school resource officers. For the past nine years, Lt. Wagoner has worked as a patrol sergeant. She earned a master’s degree in Business from Methodist University. She also has a General Instructor Certification and an Advanced Law Enforcement Certification. Lt. Wagoner will be assigned to D Shift.
