WTP CAUSTIC TANK REPLACEMENTS

Advertisement for Bids

Request for sealed proposals for the construction of the WTP CAUSTIC TANK REPLACEMENTS AND BUILDING REPAIRS will be posted on Friday, February 9, 2024, and bids will be received, by the CITY OF STATESVILLE, at the office of the Public Works Department, 301 S. Center Street, Statesville NC 28677, until 2:00 PM local time on March 5, 2024, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Work of the Project includes the partial demolition and replacement of the existing roof and the demolition and replacement in like kind of two (2) 17,000-gal carbon steel caustic storage tanks and associated piping and equipment.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis.

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM and may obtain digital copies of the Bidding Documents from the City of Statesville’s website.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM local time on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Statesville Water Plant located at 232 Pump Station Rd, Statesville, NC 28677. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
