The Cool Springs Volunteer Fire Department held its annual awards banquet at Firehouse No. 1 on Saturday, January 6.

Numerous awards were given out to the department’s dedicated volunteers, including Fire Fighter Jen Gada, Rookie of the Year; Fire Fighter Ryan Franklin, Most Calls Answered and First Responder of the Year; Fire Fighter John Fletcher, Fire Fighter of the Year; Fire Fighter Brittany Loftin, Most Training Hours; Fire Fighter Jason Little, 15 Years of Service; and Captain Brandon Shives, Officer of the Year.
