The Downtown Statesville Development Corporation invites all local artists to submit their work celebrating the rich history, diverse culture, and vibrant community to be considered for display in the Cooper Street Banner Art Gallery.

The Cooper Street Banner Art Gallery, situated in Downtown Statesville on the side of Nu-Way Shoes at 114 E. Broad Street, serves as a dynamic platform for artistic expression. The current display features “Summer Day Camp” by Kali Moore, “Chewie and Penny” by Larisa Kamp, “Iredell Farm” by Don Moore, “Sunset Rip” by Mandi Rae, and other artwork that captures the essence of our community.

Established in 2018 and updated in 2020, the gallery boasts nine banners, each approximately 10 feet by 6 feet.

Artists are invited to contribute to this ever-evolving showcase.

Submission Details

To submit your artwork for consideration, visit www.downtownstatesville.com. The DSDC Design Committee will carefully review all submissions. The deadline for artwork submissions is Friday, May 24.
