Fire Marshal’s Office investigating house fire in Mooresville’s Cherry Grove neighborhood

The Mooresville Fire-Rescue Fire Marshal’s Office is  investigating the cause of an early morning fire in the Cherry Grove neighborhood.

MF-R personnel responded to a house fire on Pink Orchard Drive about 4:45 a.m. Tuesday.

One residence was heavily damaged, and another residence had minor exterior damage, according to MF-R officials.

No civilians or firefighters were injured, and three residents were displaced.
