Iredell Health System is pleased to announce Jennifer Holmes has been promoted to the director of risk management and patient safety.

Holmes has been a nurse for eight years, spending five of those years with Iredell Health System. Since joining Iredell Health System, she has served in various capacities, including clinical educator, assistant director of 1 North, and director of Employee Health.

In her new role, Holmes will help ensure safe and trusted healthcare delivery to continue to improve patient outcomes.

“My goal is to continue to enhance our ability to identify and mitigate risks for our patients and employees,” said Holmes.

Holmes received her bachelor’s in nursing from UNC-Charlotte. She also earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in leadership and administration from Capella University.

In her free time, Holmes enjoys traveling, preferably somewhere warm, with a good book.
