The Mooresville Day Festival returns to Downtown Mooresville on Saturday, April 27, from 12 to 4 p.m. This annual celebration brings together the community for a day of fun, food, and entertainment! Featuring live music, local vendors, and exciting activities for all ages, the festival showcases the vibrant spirit of Mooresville and its residents.

One of the highly anticipated performances of the day is the School Mascot Dance-Off. Representatives from five Mooresville schools will showcase their best dance moves and ignite the crowd with their infectious energy. Participating schools include Woodland Heights Elementary, Pine Lake Preparatory, Mooresville High School, Langtree Charter Academy, and Lake Norman High School.

The School Mascot Dance-Off promises to be a spectacle like no other, as each school’s beloved mascot will bust out their most impressive dance skills in a bid for glory. Roary the Lion from Pine Lake Preparatory will defend their title as reigning champ from last year’s competition.

The School Mascot Dance-Off is just one of the many highlights of the Mooresville Day Festival, celebrating our vibrant community and its diverse offerings. Attendees can enjoy a Ferris wheel and other amusement rides, inflatables, street performers, gem mining, face painting, carnival games, food trucks, live performances and more! All activities are free, with the exception of food and beverage.

Make sure to join in the fun at 1:30 pm on the Performance Stage, located at the intersection of Moore Avenue and Main Street, and be part of the excitement as these spirited mascots battle it out for Most School Spirit.
