Four Iredell-Statesville Schools leaders have been selected to participate in the North Carolina Principal Fellows Program.
The following educators have been named Principal Fellows:
● Dawn Cardwell, instructional facilitator at Coddle Creek Elementary School;
● Lauren Crawford, career development coordinator at the Career Academy & Technical School;
● Anne Ellis, instructional facilitator at Statesville High School; and
● Molly Ford, instructional facilitator at Lake Norman Elementary School
The N.C. Principal Fellows Program is a highly competitive, state-administered initiative led by the N.C. Principal Fellows Commission in partnership with the N.C. State Education Assistance Authority.
Through the program, fellows engage in rigorous graduate-level coursework, complete a year-long internship, and receive mentorship from experienced principals. Fellows will earn a master’s degree in school administration upon completion of the program.
Each of these leaders has demonstrated a deep commitment to students, staff, and their school communities.
“In Iredell-Statesville Schools, we believe strong schools are built by strong leaders,” I-SS Superintendent Jeff James said. “We are incredibly proud of these educators and excited to see how they will continue to grow and lead in our district.”
