The Fourth Creek Rotary Club presented the Service Above Self Award to Dove House Children’s Advocacy Center Victim Advocate Candy Feimster during the club’s meeting on Wednesday. This award recognizes a person who provides outstanding service to victims and is awarded each year by Fourth Creek Rotary and the District Attorney’s Office in observance of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. Feimster has worked with Dove House for 24 years, supporting children and families through the court process and helping them heal.
