The 2026 Piedmont HealthCare Friday After Five Summer Concert Series will kick off Friday, May 1. The free concerts are held on West Broad Street in front of Mitchell Community College.
Beginning with the first concert, a local band will take the stage before the headliner. Another new addition this years is a makers market, hosted by The Local Collective, which will feature North Carolina-made arts and crafts for sale.
The first concert will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., providing an evening of live music, local food, arts & crafts, and community fun. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and friends to enjoy a fun night.
The Music Lineup
• Opener: Statesville’s own Lochlan Kilburn kicks things off with a soulful blend of Americana, Celtic, Folk, and Alternative Rock.
• Headliner: Winston-Salem’s Big Daddy Love will follow with its high-energy “Appalachian Rock.” Named a FloydFest “On The Rise” winner and three-time Music City Roots featured band, Big Daddy Love is guaranteed to get the crowd moving.
Food & Beverages
Dinner and dessert will be available starting at 5:30 p.m. featuring Blue Plate, Stack’ed, and Andrea’s Ice Cream & Sweet Shop. Red Buffalo Brewing Company will serve fan favorite draft beers, select wines and a variety of other brand name beers.
Event Details
• Admission: Free to the public.
• Tokens: While the event is transitioning away from token sales, any tokens from previous seasons
will be honored throughout 2026.
• ID Requirements: Alcohol consumption requires a wristband, available at the ID Tent with a valid
photo ID.
