The Town of Mooresville will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the renovated Bellingham Park playground on Tuesday, April 28, at 2 p.m. Town officials will give brief remarks, and light refreshments will be provided.
The enhanced Bellingham Park playground focuses on inclusivity and provides play features for all ages and physical abilities, enhancing recreation opportunities for all Mooresville residents.
Enhancements include:
♦ A two-lane zip line, including one lane equipped with an Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant chair;
♦ Fully accessible slides;
♦ Synthetic turf surface;
♦ ADA-compliant swings;
♦ Wheelchair-accessible glider;
♦ Interactive musical equipment; and
♦ Sensory panels
Located at 1600 Bellingham Drive, Bellingham Park sits on 46 acres and is one of 17 parks in the Town of Mooresville’s Parks & Recreation system.
