Three suspects face felony drug charges as the result of a six-month investigation by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office and the N.C. State Bureau of Investigation into the sale and distribution of crack cocaine.

Sheriff Darren Campbell said the investigation primarily focused on Larry Darnell Robinson, who was identified as a key individual involved in narcotics trafficking. Over the course of several months, detectives conducted surveillance, undercover operations, and utilized advanced investigative techniques to build the case.

As the investigation progressed, detectives identified additional individuals connected to the operation, including Harold Lee Jackson and Erica Nicole Ramsey, Campbell said.

On Wednesday ICSO narcotics detectives, members of the Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team, deputies, and additional personnel executed a search warrant at a home on Herbert Lane in Statesville connected to Jackson, who is currently awaiting trial in another jurisdiction on cocaine trafficking charges.

During the search, investigators seized approximately half an ounce of crack cocaine, 135 grams of marijuana, and $17,000 in cash believed to be tied to drug sales, Campbell said.

This investigation remains ongoing. Detectives expect additional arrests as they continue to review evidence and intelligence gathered during the case, Campbell said.

The sheriff encourages anyone with information about narcotics activity to come forward. Tips can be submitted anonymously through the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office mobile app, or by calling the Sheriff’s Office directly to speak with a deputy.
