Through May 15, your $100 donation to Pharos Parenting can also mean a chance to win a $10,000 grand prize.
As part of Child Abuse Prevention Month, Pharos Parenting is holding its first ever Chance for Change raffle fundraiser. This raffle will raise money to directly impact child abuse prevention efforts in Iredell, Alexander, and north Mecklenburg counties.
With only 600 tickets available, Chance for Change offers participants the opportunity to win a grand prize of $10,000, while directly supporting Pharos Parenting’s mission to strengthen families through education, coaching, and prevention services. Each ticket is priced at $100, and all proceeds will go toward local child abuse prevention programs.
“At 1-in-600, these are incredible odds to win such a large prize,” said Nate Saunders, communications director at Pharos Parenting. “But at minimum, everyone who purchases a ticket knows that their money isn’t going to waste. It’ll directly impact children and families in our community. You’re not just entering a raffle. You’re making a donation that could turn into a $10,000 cash prize.”
Funds raised will directly support programs that serve families across the region, helping to break cycles of abuse and create healthier environments for children to grow and thrive.
The drawing will be held at HopTown Brewing in Mooresville on May 15, and a winner will be declared. Tickets will be available up until the drawing unless they sell out beforehand.
Tickets can be purchased on pharosparenting.org and at Pharos Parenting’s office located at 1602 Davie Avenue in Statesville. This is not an online raffle and ticket purchasers will have their ticket placed in the drawing on May 15. You must be 18 or older to purchase a ticket.
Since 1987, Pharos Parenting’s mission has been to build positive parenting skills through targeted education, in-home coaching, and supportive intervention programs. A registered 501(c)(3) non-profit located in Statesville, the organization serves parents and children of Iredell, Alexander, and north Mecklenburg counties.
