James Harrison Crisco, 76, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020, at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte.

He was born on December 14, 1943, in Mooresville, N.C., to the late Walter and Miriam Burrell Crisco. Mr. Crisco was a 1962 graduate of Mooresville High School. He retired from Burlington Mills in 1999. Mr. Crisco enjoyed yardwork, gardening, model trains, and loved his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Miller Crisco; son, Mike Crisco; and his sister, Juanita Crisco.

He is survived by his sons, Rodney Crisco, Jonathan Crisco, and Andrew Crisco (Rachel); sister, Frances Barkley (Sonny); brother, Eugene Crisco; and grandchildren, Adam, Megan, Lyla, and Miller Crisco.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 9, from 2 to 3 p.m. with a service following at 3 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Hugh Cooper officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park.
