Marjorie Louise Hall White, 77, of Statesville, N.C., entered into eternal life at Gordon Hospice House on November 5, 2020. She was born in Norfolk County, Va., on February 27, 1943, to the late John Edward and Leona Speaks Hall.

She was employed by Iredell Memorial Hospital for over 20 years and was a member of St. John Baptist Church. She graduated Morningside High School in 1960. She enjoyed singing, reading, television and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Mace White Sr.; a daughter, Alecia B. White; and a brother, John E. Hall Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are a son Lonnie Mace White II (Taneilla); daughters, Joni Michelle Bailey (Charles), Donna Lonette Rose (Darrin), and Alana Ciemone White; and one sister, Elizabeth Hall Brown (James).

Additional survivors include three grandchildren, Jarnell Bailey, Donnavon Rose and Macen White. She also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Jhavir Bailey and Charlie White, as well as a host of nieces and nephews and a special friend, Veronica Sherrill.

A celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held at St. John Baptist Church on Sunday, November 8, 2020, at 4 p.m. with Pastor Burrel Brooks officiating.
