Raymond Lee Huddleston, 75, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C.

He was born on January 1, 1945 in Cullman, Ala., to the late Wyatt and Mattie Brown Huddleston. Mr. Huddleston was retired from AT&T and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Oakwood, G. He loved computers, Popular Science, and being outside gardening, raising chickens, growing blueberries, bee keeping, and taking care of his lawn. Mr. Huddleston was always a busy man and never met a stranger. He was a wonderful husband, dad, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Ginger Smith Huddleston; children, Victoria Hammett, Amanda Bringuel (John), Heather McDonough (Kevin), and Pamela Hensley, who is like a daughter; grandchildren, Katie Hammett, Abbi Hammett, Jonathan Bringuel (Emily), Alexandra Bringuel, Rachel Bringuel (fiancé, Jevaris Jones), Jacob Bringuel, Christian McDonough, Leah McDonough, and Addyson McDonough; and great granddaughter, Rylee Kate Rhodes.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any Alzheimer’s research program or a charity of your choice.
