Roger Daniel Ott, 89, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.

He was born on December 5, 1930, in Noble County, Ind., to the late Clinton and Edna Mae Harland Ott. Mr. Ott was a veteran who served proudly in the U.S. Marines. He was a retired engineer.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Donna Hawn Ott; daughters, Debbie Nelson (Gary), Corinne Warlick (Richie), and Rachele Brotherton (Steve); sister, Carolee Hersey; grandchildren, Jason Warlick (Andrea), Chad Nelson, Joshua Brotherton (Megan), Jacob Warlick, Cynthia Nelson Parker (John), and Stephanie Brotherton; and great grandchildren, Carter Warlick, Parker Warlick, Regean Warlick, Jacob Warlick, Griffin Parker, Sadie Pagan, and Colton Brotherton.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, at Glenwood Memorial Park in Mooresville with Rev. Donnie Stone officiating.
