Harold “Dean” Knight, 90, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021, at his home. He was born January 3, 1931, to the late Millard and Olene Campbell Knight.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Joyce “Gail” Atwell Knight; grandson, Matthew Davis Graham; and his brother, Bobby Knight.

Dean worked as a foreman for Williams Electric before his retirement. He was a member of Williamson’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

Dean is survived by his daughters, Denise Knight of the home and Debbie Graham (Gary) of Mt. Ulla; sister, Billy Anne Roberts (Jimmy); brother, Marshall Knight (Hazel); grandchildren, Josh (Alicia), Seth (Hillary), Hannah (Aubrey), and Lizzie (Garrett); and great-grandchildren, Luke, Eli, Clary, Carrigan, Cassidy and Ellison Graham, Wade Deweese, and Wyatt Overcash.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. James Foushee and Tanya Maxwell, DNP, ANP-C. Also, a special thank you to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County for their passionate care during Dean’s illness.

There will be a private graveside service Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 11 a.m.
