Jacob Kenneth Harris, 27, of Cleveland, N.C., passed away on June 25, 2021. He was born on May 22, 1994, in Jacksonville, N.C., to Robert and Donnette Brown Harris.

Jacob graduated from South Iredell High School in 2012. He was employed at Symmetrix Composite Tooling. Jacob enjoyed the outdoors and fishing with his Dad and Papaw. He was a patriotic man and had great respect for anyone who served in the military. Jacob had a loving and loyal heart. He loved to be goofy, laugh and have fun with all his family and friends. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially with his parents, whom he always considered his best friends. He loved his family dearly and was happiest when everyone could all get together to listen to music and have fun. He enjoyed life to the fullest.

Jacob was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jeanette Harrison, and grandfather, Don Frank Brown

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his Papaw, Spencer Harrison, and grandmothers, Phyllis Powell and Charlotte Dunn; uncle, Don Alan Brown (fiancée Sarah Sawyer); aunts, Angie Gales (James) and Hannah Brown; many close cousins, extended family and friends, and his beloved fur baby, Abby.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held afterwards at 7 p.m. in the Heritage House on the campus of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.

In honor of Jacob’s patriotic heart, the family would like to ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Patriot Guard Riders, 6641 E. 85th Street North, Owasso, OK 74055 or the Piedmont Veterans Assistance Council, 1007 Briarcliff Road, Mooresville, NC 28115.
