Karen Sue Reynolds Kaiser, 70, passed away at home on Monday, June 21, 2021. She was born in Lansing, Mich., on January 31, 1951.

Karen graduated from Holt High School, Class of 1969. She was devoted to her family and a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an animal lover who rescued many animals over her lifetime. Karen was an avid supporter of the local Humane Society and the national ASPCA. She loved collecting porcelain figurines, animal paintings and quilts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Forrest Dale Reynolds.

Karen is survived by her mother, Lois Reynolds; sister, Coleen Hines; husband of 50 years, Kenneth F. Kaiser; daughters, Kimberlee Ward and Andrea Gulzow; and grandsons, J. Christian Manoleas and grandson Hayden Gulzow.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021 at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, 494 E. Plaza Drive, Mooresville, NC 28115.
