Gladys Irene Baldwin Minton, 90, passed away December 13, 2022, at Maple Leaf in Statesville, N.C. She was born May 12, 1932, in Wilkes County to the late Noah Lewis Baldwin and Ettie Dula Baldwin.
Gladys worked at Iredell Memorial Hospital and was a faithful member of Living Word Ministries.
In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, James Roy Minton; one daughter, Barbra Ingool; two brothers, Henry Baldwin (Pat) and Robert Baldwin; two sisters, Kathleen Byers and Hazel Phillips; one grandson; and one great-grandson.
Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Diane Lewis and husband David, Loretta Anders and husband Roger, and Angela Warricks and husband Rodney, all of Statesville; three brothers, Tim Baldwin and wife Sharon of Elkin, N.C., Glenn Baldwin and wife Cathy of Booneville, N.C., and Bill Baldwin and wife Monica; sister, Patricia Russell and husband Kenneth of Ronda, N.C.; six grandchildren, James David Lewis and wife Melanie, Marc Webb and wife Jenny, Tami Fobes and husband Rodney, Rachel Anders, Sierra Humphries, and Joshua Humphries; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be conducted December 16, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Living Word Ministries. Grandson Pastor James David Lewis Sr. will officiate. The family will receive friends December 16, 2022, from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Church. Burial will follow in Church Cemetery.
