Glenn Grey Williams, 82, of Troutman, N.C., passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He was born on July 28, 1940 in Iredell County, N.C., to the late Rev. C.W. Williams and Lela Lipe Williams.

Mr. Williams attended Troutman High School and owned and operated Cascade Tire and Auto in Mooresville for over 40 years. He attended West Corinth Baptist Church in Mooresville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janice Brackett Williams, whom he married October 31, 1958. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Marie W. Brown; and brothers, Bruce, Ralph, R.A., Daniel, and Donald Williams.

He is survived by his children, Billy Williams (Laura), Wayne Williams (Teresa), Donnie Williams (Anita), Teresa Speagle (Scott), Randy Williams, Charles Williams, and Kim Williams (Ivan); sister-in-law, Norma Nantz; 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, including nieces, Nancy Barrier and Wanda Collins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Heritage House at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 4, at West Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Suttles officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
