Karl Alan Kissman, 49, passed away on January 28, 2022. He was born February 8, 1972, in Okinawa, Japan.

Karl received a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from Concordia College in Ann Arbor Mich. He married the love of his life, Tina Cain Kissman on June 26, 1999, in Macomb, Mich. Karl was an active member of Christ the Good Shepard Antiochian Orthodox Mission of Concord, N.C. He worked as a commodity manager for Knorr-Bremse-New York Air Brake, but the true satisfaction of his life was spending time with his large loving family. He enjoyed watching the Pittsbugh Steelers, traveling, playing video games, sci-fi, and his motorcycle.

He will be lovingly remembered by his father, Bridance Kissman; wife, Tina Kissman; children, Elizabeth Kissman, Phillip Kissman, Emma Kissman, and Cullen Kissman of Mooresville; sister, Kathy Michayluk and partner Don Tune of Chesterfield, Mich.; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 2, from 6 to 8 p.m.  at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory, 494 E Plaza Drive, Mooresville, NC 2811. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 3, at 11 a.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory. The service will be followed by a procession to Glenwood Memorial Park, 273 Glenwood Drive, Mooresville, NC 28115.

Family and friends are invited for a wake being held at Cavin-Cook Heritage House, 494 E. Plaza Drive, Mooresville, following the service.
