Mariam Hripsime Maldjian Navarro, 59, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, after her long and hard-fought battle with Ovarian Cancer. She was born September 17, 1963, in Newark, N.J., to Vartavar Maldjian and Milia Mouradian Maldjian.

Mariam was the President and Founder of Anjolique Bridal in Cornelius, N.C. She also owned and operated Allied Manufacturing with her husband, Joseph Navarro. She was a graduate of the University in Pennsylvania where she studied English Literature and Music.

Mariam will be remembered by her family and friends as a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and a Witness to Jehovah. She was a gifted pianist and classical composer, a talented writer, and accomplished businesswoman. Most of all, Mariam loved her family and she will be dearly missed.

Mariam is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Rocco Navarro Sr.; daughters, Maria Josette Navarro-Bailey and Amelia Antoinette Navarro; stepchildren, Carol Ann Navarro-Linn and Joseph Rocco Navarro Jr.; siblings, Dr. Bedros (Pierre) Maldjian, Dr. Hovsep (Joseph) Maldjian, and sister Dr. Takouhie (Kathy) Maldjian; and grandchildren, Sara Linn, Samantha Linn, AJ Linn, Christopher Linn, David Linn, Rocco Bailey and Josette Bailey.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October, 8 with a service following at 2 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville.
