Rosea Mae Ramsue, 71, was born in Iredell County, N.C., on July 28, 1951, to the late James Franklin Ramsue and Josephine Rosebud Graham. She entered into eternal peace on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at her residence.

Rosea graduated from West Rowan High School, was raised at Knox Grove Baptist Church, and later joined One Accord Ministries, Statesville. Rosea loved singing with her grandkids and traveling. She will truly be missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Jeffrey Allen Ramsue Jr., and one sister, Mary Ann Ramsue.

Rosea leaves to cherish the memories of her life two daughters, Crystal Ramsue-Norman and Charlene Ramsue, both of Statesville; two sisters, Lula Belle Ramsue and Margaret “Frankie” (Robert) Scott, both of Statesville; four grandchildren, Jasmine Ramsey, Destiny Brawley, Chandra Ramsey, and Cierra Ramsey; six great grandchildren, Jayda Mahaffey, Cameron Gaither, Lawson Smith, Judah Mahaffey, Jeremiah Ramsey, and Caysen Dulin; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home. Members of the family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Knox Grove Baptist Cemetery, Cleveland. Apostle Lawrence Kerns will officiate.
