Sarah Bradshaw Jackson, 88, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at her residence. She was born on July 5, 1934, in Iredell County, N.C., to the late James “Butch” and Mabel Bost Bradshaw.

Mrs. Jackson was a member of Prospect Presbyterian Church in Mooresville. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, cooking, and reading.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Charles Jackson; and sisters, Barbara Knox and Louisa Markle.

She is survived by her children, Elaine Boyles (Tommy) and Charles E. Jackson (Lisa); stepmother, Margie Swiggett; grandchildren, Matthew Hagerty (Candace), April Jackson (Garrett Atwell), and Kevin Jackson (Beth); step grandchildren, Amanda Donnell (Russ), Catherine Almani (Joseph); and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, at Prospect Presbyterian Church with Rev. Will Gipe officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
