Bruce Anne Steadman passed away on January 28, 2023. She was born in Statesville, N.C., on December 31, 1967. She was a graduate of Starmount High School and Surry Community College. She worked as an LPN for the Yadkin County Health Department.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Paul and Virginia Steadman; her maternal grandfather, Frank D Alexander; and her father, Paul C. Steadman.

She is survived by her grandmother, Betty Alexander; her mother, Cynthia Randleman; her sisters, Julia (Mark) Hallum and Cammie (René) Burgess; and nephews, Jon (Viviana) Burgess and their children, Levi, Josiah, Noah, and Felicity, Robert Burgess, and Andrew (Katelyn) Burgess and their daughters, Ava and Elise, as well as many cousins, aunts, and friends.

Bruce Anne could make anyone laugh and enjoyed story telling. She loved hummingbirds. She was artistic and enjoyed making crafts and writing. She was a friend to many and kept in contact with friends from every place she worked and lived. Bruce Anne (or “Brucie”) will be missed for her good humor and her willingness to go the extra mile for those in need.

A memorial service will be held at Prospect Presbyterian Church in Mooresville, N.C., at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023.
