Danny graduated high school from Goldsboro Christian School in Goldsboro, N.C., and went on to further his education in home improvement in California. Danny was an adventurous soul, made friends everywhere, and always kept everyone either laughing or shaking their head. He loved to fish, play and watch sports, and adored the summertime. He loved to be around any type of body of water, loved to listen to music, and was a fan of action/legal novels. Danny was an avid supporter of UNC basketball and the Carolina Panthers, and a secret supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs due to his brief time living in Kansas. Danny was an active member of Peoples Baptist Church in Harrisonburg, Va., where he loved to hear his dad’s sermons. As a profession most of his life, he loved to work in any type of home improvement/construction and was an extremely talented painter.

A private graveside service will be held 2 p.m. on Monday, January 30 at Beulah Baptist Church in Statesville, N.C., with Arnold Comer officiating. His family would like for anyone that was touched by Danny’s life to seek Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, and to advocate for additional research for Glioblastoma tumors.

Troutman Funeral Home is serving the family.
