She graduated from Far Rockaway High School in Far Rockaway, N.Y. She began her career in the medical field working at St. John Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, Queens. She loved to cook and listen to music. She enjoyed life. Her calling was to do for others whether it was cleaning, cooking, making others feel great, and she was quick to speak life onto you from New York to North Carolina once she relocated to Iredell County She jumped right back into the medical field, working as a home health aide as well as a chef selling plates in the neighborhood. She gave motherly love to everyone she crossed paths with. A lot of people called her Ma.

She started working at an assisted living Mill Creek Manor In Statesville, N.C., where she passed away doing what she loved most — taking care of others. She will truly be missed.
