Rose Musi, 95, of Mooresville, N.C., and formerly of Toms River, N.J., passed away on June 7, 2023.

Born in Amantea, Italy, on January 16, 1928, Rose came to America when she was three years old. She grew up in Belleville, and after graduating from Belleville High School, she worked as a secretary for National East.

On December, 4, 1949, Rose married Raffaele (Ralph), her loving husband (Honey) of 66 years. Rose and Ralph raised their three sons in Belleville and later Colonia. Rose was a homemaker who took great pride in keeping a spotless home. She was also a great cook, well known by family and friends for her famous lasagna, which was served at every holiday and special occasion. Rose loved arts and crafts, especially crochet; all of her loved ones homes would have many blankets and pillows that she hand crafted. Rose enjoyed playing the piano and organ, as well as singing and writing poetry. She was an avid shopper and loved playing the slot machines at the casino. In her later years, Rose enjoyed watching classic movies and the soap opera General Hospital.

Rose is predeceased by her husband, Raffaele (Ralph), and her parents Francesca and Gennaro.

Surviving are her sons, Pasquale (Pat) and his wife Elisabet (Liz), Ralph, and Gennaro (Jerry) and his wife JoAnn; her grandchildren, Rose Marie, Jerry, Elizabeth (Lizzy), Patricia (Tricia), Patrick, Antonia, and Raffaele (Ralphie); and great-grandchildren, Giuliana and Abriana. She is also survived by one niece, Antoinette.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 12, 2023, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 6 p.m. at Cavin- Cook Funeral Home, 494 E. Plaza Drive Mooresville, NC 28115.
